Port 25 error, when trying to send email (may be more details, but definitely says Port 25 error):
Solution: This is because most of the major ISPs (MSN, Earthlink, Prodigy, ATT, etc.) now block outgoing email from servers outside of their networks. You need to contact your ISP and ask them if they will allow you to use their SMTP mail server. There is absolutely nothing we can do about this, it is beyond our control. See below for most of the major ISP's SMTP/outgoing mail server information.
Sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts error, when trying to send email. This is because you MUST check your email before sending. This is to prevent spammers from using our mail servers as a relay.
Solution: The server is not recognizing your login. You must follow your welcome email instructions EXACTLY. The most common problem is entering the same username that is used for FTP. The username for email is NOT the same as the username for FTP.
OUTGOING EMAIL SERVERS FOR MOST MAJOR ISPS:
DCAnet, enter postoffice.dca.net
AT&T WorldNet, enter mailhost.worldnet.att.net
MindSpring, enter smtp.mindspring.com
Microsoft's MSN, enter smtp.email.msn.com
Prodigy Internet, enter smtp.prodigy.net
Sprynet, enter smtp.sprynet.com
EarthLink, enter mail.earthlink.net
NetZero, enter smtp.netzero.net
AltaVista Free Access, enter email.1stup.com
If you're using another ISP, contact your ISP for the correct setting for
their outgoing (or "SMTP") mail server.
